Carnival has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Although I was born in New York, my family is from Trinidad and Tobago, where Carnival is more than a celebration—it's a way of life. From the age of six, I was playing mas and spending time at mas camps with my family, creating memories that shaped who I am.

As I got older, I loved introducing friends from all backgrounds to the magic of Carnival. Watching them experience the energy, music, and sense of community for the first time inspired me to create Damali Mas in 2014. With the help form of my sister we have built something special over the years.
